Prithi Narasimhan is a reputed Carnatic vocalist, and a very sought after Carnatic music instructor, voice trainer and voice coach, based in Dallas, Texas, USA. Sreekumar R. Bhaskaran is an associate professor of information technology and operations management (ITOM) at the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Cox School of Business. He holds a PhD in supply chain and operations management from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He also has an MBA in operations and marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a BE in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
Sreekumar has been an avid listener and supporter of Indian classical music. His daughters actively learn Indian classical music from Mrs. Prithi Narasimhan.

Shruthi is currently a 10th grader at Lebanon Trail High School in Frisco, TX. She is a bright student and is a part of the “Gifted and Talented Program”. She is a gifted student of Carnatic music and has been under the tutelage of Dr. K.N. Shashikiran, a world record holder and an award-winning musician and educator in the field, from the tender age of 4. Shruthi performs solo Carnatic vocal concerts in many prominent venues in India and the US and won several prestigious international competitions. Shruthi is a certified Carnatic vocal teacher, and she teaches and mentors several students. She volunteers her time towards a non-profit educational project initiated by her mother, called "Vidhyaadhaanam", through which she shares free carnatic music lessons in an instructional video format to support the learning of aspiring students who do not have access to teachers or good resources. Shruthi participates in these activities and helps edit and produce the video lessons herself. Shruthi is also proficient in Western Classical vocal, Western Orchestral Violin, and Carnatic Violin, as well as Software (MIDI) instruments. Sahana Kumar is a young senior disciple of Mrs. Prithi Narasimhan and an 8th grader. She is a bright student and is a part of the "Gifted and Talented Program". Sahana is a gifted student of Carnatic vocal music and has been under the tutelage of Prithi from the tender age of 4. She has also had the opportunity to learn from eminent musician Dr. K.N. Shashikiran, through workshops in Dallas. Sahana volunteers for Prithi and INDUS Fine Arts and mentors several students with Prithi's guidance. She is passionate about teaching young children. Sahana also volunteers for Prithi's Vidhyaadhaanam project by participating in the teaching sessions to simulate the student portion in the video lessons. Sahana is also proficient in Western classical vocal and western violin.
Pallavi is currently a 9th grader at Lowrey Freshman Center in Allen, Tx. She is also a bright student and a part of the “Gifted and Talented Program”. She is a talented young disciple of Mrs. Prithi Narasimhan and has been learning Carnatic Music under her tutelage for 6 years. She has also had the opportunity to learn from eminent musician Dr. K.N. Shashikiran, through workshops in Dallas. In addition to vocal music training, she also learns and enjoys playing the violin and piano. Besides music, she is interested in Chess and Robotics. She has been featured in several editions of the top 100 ranking list of women and chess players of USA. She enjoys working with young students as a peer helper and also helps special need kids build and understand robots through the Special Olympics Unified Robotics Program. She also helps Prithi by volunteering as student program coordinator for events hosted by her and INDUS Fine Arts or our partners. Pallavi also volunteers for Prithi's Vidhyaadhaanam project by participating in the teaching sessions to simulate the student portion in the video lessons.
